JUMPING STOP DOGS FROM JUMPING
We work all over Sydney and have experience dealing specifically with helping your dog to stop jumping
A dog is not “greeting” the human when it jumps up on you or puts its paws on you. We like to think it is affectionately greeting us, and while it may be happy to see us, it is asserting its dominance over the human; it is the dog communicating that it is alpha dog and wants to control the human.
A subordinate dog in a pack would never run over and jump on the alpha dog. Lower members of the pack respect the higher members. If your dog jumps on humans, it is not respecting them and if fact showing dominance over the human.
When a puppy jumps on humans it is sometimes for affection and to greet, but if not stopped early on, this behaviour will change into other meanings and dominance as the puppy grows up into an adult dog.

What Our Client Say
Hi Wendy, Just wanted to give you an update on Bear – the chocolate Labrador, you trained at our apartment in Vaucluse. He is a new dog !! So much more relaxed and enjoyable to have around. I think the change of diet made a huge difference and we noticed the difference within a couple of days. He is an expert at sit / stay / free now and the new collar for walking has made a huge difference when we take him for a walk.

The training techniques were relevant to my dog Benson’s bad behaviour that’s why the problem I was having with my dog was fixed immediately within the 1 hour. I can now walk easy with Benson without pulling on lead and stop and sit on leash if I want him to.
